MidCoast Health System provides DOT physicals in Wharton, Bay City and El Campo.
An updated physical examination is required every two years by The Department of Transportation (DOT) for applicants and holders of commercial drivers’ licenses. When you need to renew your DOT physical, stay local and save time. Choose from our licensed medical examiners listed on the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMSCA) National Registry.
If the medical examiner finds that the person he/she examined is physically qualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle (CMV), the medical examiner will furnish one copy of the results to the person who was examined and complete a Medical Examiner’s Certificate.
