Dr. Robin Yue performs the radial artery (wrist) access cardiac catheterizations at El Campo Memorial Hospital. Potential benefits to the wrist approach: less and more controlled bleeding, less complications; easy to see and compress; visible blood loss if any; able to sit up immediately after the radial procedure; no long recovery time; fewer strokes and heart attacks following this procedure vs. the groin approach; in summary the radial approach is more comfortable and safer for the patients; a strong endorsement from patients; and overwhelmingly favorable, patients are now asking for this type of catheterization.
Dr. Yue, MD is a practicing Cardiologist (Heart Specialist) was recently was in Deridder, Louisiana. Dr. Yue graduated with honors from Zhejiang Medical University in 1985 and has more than 37 years of diverse experiences, especially in Cardiovascular Disease. He is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease. Dr. Yue specializes in cardiovascular disease, heart failure, and cardiac arrhythmia. Dr. Yue treats patients 16 years and older. He completed a residency at Pittsburgh Shadyside Hospital and his cardiology fellowship at Heart & Vascular Institute at Ochsner, New Orleans. He most currently practiced at Beauregard Memorial Hospital in Louisiana. Dr. Yue is excited to be in El Campo along with his wife and children.
