Under the direct supervision of the departmental director, the technologist will assist in the coordination of the technical function of the Diagnostic Imaging Department on a daily basis. Is responsible for assisting with the clinical education of the WCJC radiology students. Assists in maintaining the Q.C. for the Imaging Department. As a staff radiographer, performs a variety of technical procedures that require rational independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative in performing standard examinations in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. Acknowledges and responds appropriately to the hospital’s customer relations philosophy, including the five fundamentals of the AIDET program.
