Peggy Avendaño is a native Texan, born and raised in El Campo. She graduated from El Campo High School in 2000, Wharton County Junior College as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in 2006, Excelsior College with an Associate Degree in Nursing in 2009, The University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2017, and The University of Texas at Arlington with a Master of Science in Nursing in 2020. Peggy enjoys spending time with her family and two dogs. Her hobbies include reading, weightlifting, and outdoor activities.
