Mid Coast Medical Center – Trinity (MCMC-T) opens its doors on February 5, 2024
Mid Coast Health System, a rural healthcare system based out of El Campo, TX, entered into a contract with Trinity Hospital District in early 2023 with a vision to re-open the hospital facility located in Trinity, TX after being closed down in 2017.
The team of Mid Coast Health System worked hard and diligently to bring the building back up to code through extensive renovations. Over a 14 month period, the building passed the architectural review and the license was granted to open the hospital’s doors.
MCMC-T had a soft opening on February 5, 2024 and held their grand opening a little over a month later on March 27, 2024. MCMC-T is proud to provide local healthcare to the community of Trinity and surrounding area. We would like to thank the community for their endless amount of support in our journey is re-opening this facility. Additionally, we would like to thank the board members of Trinity Hospital District for their trust in our health system to take on this task and for their patience and guidance as we took on this project.
