Mid Coast Health System
Mid Coast Health System (MCHS) originated with one flagship hospital located in El Campo, TX known as El Campo Memorial Hospital (ECMH). ECMH is one of the leading rural health care hospitals along the Gulf Coast region of Texas, and is nationally known for their outstanding healthcare services during COVID-19. The roots in the El Campo community have been planted firmly for over 80 years, including being located at our current location since 1979.
With the desire to expand health care services, Mid Coast Health System was created in 2018. Shortly after its creation in 2019, Palacios Community Medical Center became the first additional hospital facility to ECMH to become affiliated with Mid Coast Health System.
Throughout 2019 to 2022, Mid Coast Health System expanded its services by opening 10+ WellCare Clinics throughout Texas, a stand alone imaging center in Bay City, TX, and two retail pharmacies.
