General Information

After shutting the doors in 2017, the Crockett hospital facility located in Houston County reopened in 2018. With the Crockett hospital facility being the only hospital within the Crockett community, it was essential to get local healthcare back in the community. While the current building can trace its roots back to 1965 for serving the Crockett community, Mid Coast Medical Center – Crockett has been compassionately serving the community since 2023 after taking over operations from Crockett Medical Center. MCMC-Crockett’s commitment to providing high quality healthcare services to the community remains at the forefront of Mid Coast Health System’s mission. MCMC-Crockett brings highly skilled medical professionals close to home, giving patients what they deserve: accessible, quality, and compassionate healthcare services through our family medicine clinic as well as our _____ bed acute-care hospital providing 24-hour emergency room service, laboratory and radiology services, physical therapy, and specialty services. Imaging Services

Mid Coast Medical Center – Crockett provides high-quality imaging services utilizing advanced technology and equipment. The skilled, affiliated imaging professionals at MCMC-Crockett are committed to delivering efficient and accurate imaging results. MCMC-Crockett offers MRI, CT Scan, Ultrasound, X-ray, and Mammography.

Inpatient Rehabilitation & Swing Bed

Mid Coast Medical Center – Crockett offers multidisciplinary inpatient medical rehabilitation. The hospital’s inpatient center is designed to help patients reach optimal functionality following an injury or illness. Personal performance goals are incorporated into a customized rehabilitation treatment program. 

As a patient of MCMC-Crockett,  your treatment doesn’t have to stop with acute care. With our Medicare provider agreement, Seniors can transition from acute care to Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) care without leaving the hospital. This allows patients to continue receiving services in the hospital even though acute care is no longer required. For example, in our swing-bed care, the following services remain available to the patient: physical therapy, occupational therapy, IV medication therapy, Monitoring of vital signs, wound care, and speech therapy.  

Specialty & General Medicine

Mid Coast Medical Center – Crockett is proud to offer their patients specialty and general medical services. Specialty medical services offered include all areas of internal medicine including diagnosing and managing cancer, infections, and diseases of the heart, blood, kidneys, joints, and digestive system. Additionally, treating chronic illnesses like diabetes and asthma.
